Patients have access to a Minor Ailments service at some local pharmacies.
These pharmacies are able to deal with certain medical conditions and prescribe medication in the same way we as your GP would prescribe them.
If you receive free medications prescribed by us, you will also receive them free from the pharmacy.
Medical conditions addressed in the Minor Ailments service include:
- Chickenpox
- Constipation
- Vaginal thrush
- Scabies
- Hayfever
- Impetigo
- Sore throat
- Cold sores
- Threadworm
- Head lice
- Eye infections
