Access to Alternative Appropriate Medical Treatment
There are various alternative options available to you if you require medical attention. However, both of our surgeries are open Monday to Friday 8.00am – 6.00pm, for all medical matters. Other options are:
Out-Of-Hours Service – NHS111
When your GP practice is closed you can seek medical advice 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year by dialling 111 or online at www.nhs.uk/111 where you will be advised of the most appropriate service for your needs. Calls are free from landlines and mobiles. This service provides out of hours cover for all of Doncaster, so please be considerate and use the service only for matters that cannot wait until the surgery re-opens. Alternatively, you can access your local pharmacy for self-care advice or visit www.nhs.uk to find local services for your needs.
Your Local Pharmacy

Some pharmacies provide a Minor Ailment Scheme for common illnesses including chicken pox, hayfever, impetigo, threadworm, constipation, headlice, conjunctivitis, common cold sores, vaginal thrush, scabies and sore throat.
